Dr Liubov Borukhson is a Consultant Rheumatologist within Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, which comprises Charing Cross Hospital, Hammersmith Hospital and St Mary's Hospital, where she offers unique ultrasound-integrated rheumatology clinics. She also sees private patients at the dedicated private facilities within the same three hospitals, run by Imperial Private Healthcare (IPH), the Trust's private arm.
She manages the full spectrum of rheumatological conditions, including inflammatory arthritis, connective tissue diseases, vasculitis, osteoporosis and rare autoimmune disorders.
She graduated with first-class honours from Donetsk National Medical University in 2007. Her multicultural background allows her to build strong relationships with patients from diverse backgrounds and to provide personalised, patient-centred care.
Dr Borukhson completed her specialist rheumatology training in leading tertiary centres, including Addenbrooke's Hospital, University College Hospital and the Royal Free Hospital.
She holds an MSc in Rheumatology from King's College London and a Postgraduate Diploma in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound from the University of East London. Her particular interest is musculoskeletal point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS), offering one-stop clinics where assessment, rapid diagnosis and highly precise ultrasound-guided injections can often be performed within the same appointment.
