Your appointment

What to expect

An unhurried, thorough consultation designed to bring clarity and a clear plan

Before your visit

Bring any recent blood tests, scans or letters, plus a list of your medications. We'll let you know if anything specific is helpful to send ahead.

During the consultation

A careful history and examination, with point-of-care ultrasound where useful and, where appropriate, an ultrasound-guided injection in the same visit.

After your appointment

You'll receive a clear explanation and plan. Dr Borukhson communicates with your GP in line with GMC and professional guidelines.

Consultation options

Dr Borukhson offers face-to-face appointments as well as video and telephone consultations, so you can be seen in the way that suits you best.

Prompt access

Private consultations can usually be arranged quickly, helping you avoid long waits and start moving forward sooner.

Joined-up care

If your treatment is better suited to an NHS setting

Some treatments, such as infusion therapy for certain inflammatory conditions, are delivered in a hospital setting rather than in a private outpatient clinic. Because Dr Borukhson works in both private and NHS practice, she is well placed to guide you to the right care.

Where a treatment of this kind is needed, she can explain the options and advise on the most appropriate NHS pathway. Depending on the circumstances, it may sometimes be possible for her to remain involved in your care, though this cannot be guaranteed and will depend on the relevant NHS arrangements.

Guided to the right care

Because Dr Borukhson understands both the private and NHS systems, she can help point you towards the most appropriate setting for your treatment, so decisions are informed and your options are clear.
