The one-stop ultrasound clinic
Assessment, diagnosis and ultrasound-guided treatment, often within a single appointment
What is point-of-care ultrasound?
Point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) uses high-resolution imaging at the bedside to look directly at joints, tendons and soft tissues in real time, with no radiation. It reveals inflammation that an examination alone may miss, allowing a faster, more accurate diagnosis.
Why ultrasound guidance matters
Injecting under direct ultrasound vision means the medication reaches exactly the intended target, whether a specific joint, tendon sheath or bursa, rather than relying on landmarks alone. This improves both accuracy and your comfort, and helps confirm the diagnosis at the same time.
- Ultrasound assessment for synovitis, tenosynovitis, enthesitis and crystal arthritis
- Ultrasound-guided joint aspirations and injections
- Real-time imaging with no radiation exposure
- Fewer visits, as diagnosis and treatment can happen together
